Brushless DC

The brushless motor (“brushless”) is an electric direct current (BLDCM, Brushless Direct Current Motor) or alternating (PMSM, Permanent Magnet Syncronous Motor) motor (depends on the construction configuration) having a permanent magnet rotor and a stator stationary (BLDCM) or rotating (PMSM) magnetic field.

Universal AC

The universal motor is a type of electric motor that can operate in both alternating and direct current and uses an electromagnet as a stator to create its magnetic field. It is a series-wound commutated motor where the stator’s field coils are connected in series with the rotor windings through a commutator. It is often referred to as an AC series motor.

Induction AC

An asynchronous motor or asynchronous motor is an AC electric motor in which the electric current in the rotor necessary to produce the torque is obtained electromagnetic induction by the magnetic field of the winding stator. An induction motor can therefore be made without electrical connections to the rotor.

  • EV/HEV drive & generator, EPS, Air conditioner, etc.
